Brian has been teaching privately since 1991 and has dedicated his career to music education. Brian graduated from the Musician's Institute and studied under such influential bassists as: Jeff Berlin, Gary Willis, Tim Bogert, and Steve Bailey.
Brian has published multiple books and DVD’s for Hal Leonard Publishing as well as conducting Clinics to promote his highly acclaimed teaching methods. Brian has been a columnist for various bass and music periodicals and received raved reviews in Bass Player Magazine for his published works. Brian also performs professionally for various Artists in Nashville and L.A. and is a songwriter and producer with many achievement awards.

Kelsey Pate is originally from Texas and moved to Nashville to pursue music. While in Texas, she taught middle school choir and orchestra.
Kelsey currently teaches voice, violin, viola, guitar, piano, cello, upright bass, and mandolin. She has a passion for teaching as well as performing, and loves being involved in multiple styles of music in different music communities.
Kelsey is a dedicated educator, experienced in various classroom settings requiring the management of students and equipment with the clear set goal to excel in fine arts competition. Simultaneously directing and managing choir and orchestra programs has provided valuable experience that has exponentially influenced my teaching practices.
Guiding and developing students in the classroom has proven to be both rewarding and fulfilling. Kelsey’s desire is to help them achieve not only a high level of musical competence in school but also a passion to continue that journey throughout their lives.
Classical Guitar, Piano, Songwriting
Tyler is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Chicago, IL. He has been teaching both private and group music lessons for six years. Tyler earned a Bachelors degree in Music from Northern Illinois University where he studied Jazz and Classical guitar under world-renowned Fareed Haque.
Tyler is proficient in many genres and has a strong Music Theory/Composition background. Currently, Tyler is actively performing in several groups around Nashville and also pursuing the study of Audio Engineering at the Dark Horse Institute in Franklin, TN.
Tyler also runs his own recording studio, located in the same building as Grand Staff Music School, under the name “Oh, Peachy Productions.”
Steve has been playing guitar professionally for 20 years and most recently completed touring the U.S. and Canada with the Multi-Platinum Country group Blackhawk. Other artist's include Andy Childs, Rebecca Lynn Howard, 2005 Nashville Star winner Erika Jo and many Nashville songwriters and artists.
He studied at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Having played literally thousands of gigs across the US, Steve brings a great deal of experience and a genuine desire to teach and to be a positive influence on aspiring guitarists. Steve will be teaching private guitar lessons as well as group classes and workshops.

Camee is a recent graduate from Greenville College where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Christian Contemporary Music with 3 emphasis in Vocal Performance, Worship Arts, and Studio Recording.
She has been teaching vocal and piano lessons for the past 5 years. Much of her teachings have come from a variety of coaches for over 17 years.
Camee has performed in many bands, groups, and choirs including, but not limited to, punk rock, classical, pop, hard rock, gospel, and funk. She is currently a Worship Arts intern as well as working independently on her songwriting and personal projects for her artist career.
Having experienced many of the stages of building a music career, Camee loves to help and guide others to achieve many of the goals they have set for their own musical futures no matter the genre or style of music.
Irene Kelly Gaines
California native Irene Kelly Gaines has been described as one of the most versatile singers in Nashville. Comfortable with any genre’, Irene has been featured in Rock, Country, Latin pop, Opera and professional choral performances.
Irene is a top shelf performer and an excellent example of a vocalist with a hard and clean attack. You quickly realize that this is not your average singer, this is a great musician. Irene has performed with many artist, Brian Duncan, Renee Garcia, Kimberly Dahme, Sheldon Reynold ( Earth Wind and Fire), Mycle Wastman ( Voice) Grammy winning artists Ashley Cleveland, Kim Hill and is a soloist for the Nashville Choir and Christ Presbyterian Choir.
