Students of GSMS participating in sports and other extracurricular functions should make arrangements with their instructor if they require altering time and day slots. We always strive to work with our students’ schedules and support them beyond their musical goals.
A 24 hour cancellation period is enforced to allow teachers to schedule make-up lessons.Failure to give a 24-hour notice can forfeit your lesson with no make-up lesson. Cancelled lessons are to be made-up during that month’s period. If a student cancels, then make-ups are at the discretion of the instructor. GSMS does not base cancellations with public school cancellations during inclement weather conditions. Call your individual instructor when regarding weather conditions.
Maintain contact with instructor about any missed lessons. Good communication and respect for the instructor and his/her time is essential in making a commitment to a lesson time. Be clear about cancellations in order to maintain your place on the instructor’s roster.
Changing Lesson Times or Stopping Lessons:
You are responsible for your time slot until you give clear notice to Grand Staff Music School of your intent to stop. A 2-week advance notice of intent to stop lessons or change lesson times is required. Your $50 deposit will be applied to your final 2 week’s lessons.
